Dyslexia Support That Builds Real Reading

Dyslexia is not a vision problem, and it is not low intelligence. It’s a different way of processing language — and it needs structured, patient, evidence-based reading support, not “try harder and read more.”

In my remote tutoring, dyslexia support focuses on:

  • Building the underlying skills step by step, in the right order, without skipping foundations
  • Practising in a way that feels safe — mastery before moving on, so confidence grows with skill
  • Connecting reading work to the student’s actual schoolwork, so gains show up in class, not just in session
  • Keeping parents in the loop with a learning summary and targeted practice activities after sessions

Kids to adults can make real progress when the instruction matches how they learn. That starts with understanding the learner, not forcing the learner into a one-size program.
